WELCOME TO AIRSOFT CANTERBURY GROUP
Airsoft is a sport in which participants shoot plastic BB pellets launched via replica firearms at safe velocities, in a safe controlled environment. Gameplay varies in style and composition but often include:
- Short-term skirmishes.
- Organised scenarios.
- Military simulations.
- Historical reenactments.
- Competition target shooting events.
Combat situations on the battlefield often involve the use of common military tactics to achieve objectives set in each game. Participants typically emulate the tactical equipment and accessories used by modern military and police organisations.
Any Questions?
A person has to be either 18yrs or 16yrs with a firearms license to “own” an Airsoft gun. Our younger members have parents ownership of the guns accompanied by field supervision for use. Airsoft Canterbury Group provides a safe private location with lots of supervision for anybody to have a go at this fast growing sport; it is the only club in NZ that accepts under 16 year old players. EVERYONE MUST SIGN WAIVERS EVEN IF YOU HAVE SIGNED ONE BEFORE!
COMPULSORY FULL FACE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED (i.e full face mask or half mask with large goggles)

$10 Entry Fee
If you already have your own Airsoft Gun (MAX 350fps Chrono’ed on 0.20g BB).
$25 Rental Gun
If you don’t have any equipment to try out the sport, $25 will get you a rental gun & safety eye wear! Rental guns come with 300 rounds of Ammo.
Extra ammo can be purchased:
- $10 (1000 shots)
- $15 (2000 shots)
- $20 (3500 shots)
- $25 (4000 shots)
